The Top-to-Bottom Tractor Run started yesterday. This arduous journey on a 1955 vintage tractor will start at John’O’Groats and finish at Lands End, with an aim of raising as much money possible for the Y.O.U. (Young Oncology Unit) at The Christie Hospital and Research Centre in Manchester.
Fred and his team have been brought together by tragic circumstances and have a common goal to raise huge amounts of money to give to the Y.O.U, to help other cancer sufferers.
Going at a speed of 10/12mph the journey will take two weeks to complete. The two weeks will consist of two stages each day with a different driver for the tractor on each stage. It costs a donation of £100 to drive the tractor and there are still a few spots are available for people to take part!
