We would like to wish everyone a wonderful New Year! 2022 was challenging in many ways but also a very rewarding year for Brit-Lube. Below are some of the good things that happened in 2022:
- New Distributors - In 2022 Brit-Lube continued to grow our network of overseas distributors. Brit-Lube secured distribution partners in the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Canada. We look forward to working closely with our partners and support the business in their territory.
- Exhibitions – We attended a BRCGS Exhibition in February, “Food Safety Europe 2022”. This event was put together to share knowledge and improve European food safety management.
- ISO Certificate – In October, Brit-Lube was issued our new ISO 9001:2015 certificate, showing our dedication and commitment to quality and to providing only the best service to our customers.
- Real Living Wage – In November, we celebrated being part of the Living Wage Week 2022 movement. We are accredited partners and believe in paying a wage based on living costs.
- New people – In November we also celebrated the addition of a new team member, Muir Miller. Muir joined the board as a Non-Executive Director to further develop and implement strategy at Brit-Lube, as well as the professional development of staff. Two other people have also joined our team in 2022: Liz Stafford, Warehouse/Operations & Nicola Trotman, Administrator.
- New products – In 2022 we launched a few new products:
Stuck Off – A unique “non-flammable” adhesive and label remover. This product was formulated to meet the demands of our clients who were keen to source a non-flammable alternative to other typical products used for removing adhesive materials.
Rapid Contact Cleaner – A fast & efficient non-conductive cleaning spray for use on electrical equipment.
Food-Tek Hot Chain LS25 - This is a NSF registered food safe specialist chain oil that has been specifically developed and formulated to improve production in the food & beverage sector. It works particularly well in high temperatures and was formulated with a “low smoke” additive package, which allows the oil to be applied without creating smoke during the process.
Throughout 2022 Brit-Lube worked hard in improving ourselves as a business and as a team, in an effort to provide an even better service and customer support than before. We have continuously invested in our equipment, facilities, and staff.
In 2022 we also become more active in the digital world, with monthly blogs added to our website, a monthly newsletter sent to our contacts, and a growing presence on social media through our LinkedIn and Twitter pages.
